Dani Wong

Co-Founder | Breath Coach & Yoga Teacher
 

Dani is a Hatha Yoga Teacher and Functional & Therapeutic Breath Coach, born and raised in Far North Queensland. Her journey into yoga and meditation led her to India in 2015, where she studied meditation with Tibetan monks in a Himalayan monastery in Northern Himachal Pradesh. She then completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Swami Sudhiranand & Yogi Siddharth on the banks of the Ganges in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Following her time in India, Dani deepened her practice with Vipassana meditation trainings in the United States and Hong Kong. After traveling and practicing around the world, she returned to Australia to complete her Functional & Therapeutic Breathwork Practitioner course. Now, she is more excited than ever to share these transformative practices back home in Far North Queensland.

Dani’s teaching focuses on breath-centered Hatha yoga, guiding students through asana (postures), pranayama (breath control), and meditation. She also integrates functional and therapeutic breathing techniques to help students develop optimal breathing patterns for better relaxation, resilience, and overall well-being.

Dangelo Vieira

Co-Founder | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Professor  

 

Dangelo Vieira is a **4th Degree Black Belt from the Cantagalo Favela in Rio de Janeiro, where he discovered his passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at just 10 years old. His dedication to the art led him to begin teaching children in Rio’s social projects as a blue belt at only 15, igniting his lifelong passion for mentoring young athletes.  

 

Earning his black belt in 2004, Dangelo has spent over 20 years teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Luta Livre (No-Gi) across Brazil, Texas, Hong Kong, China, and Brisbane, Australia. Soon, he will be bringing his expertise to the  Cairns community.  

 

With a background as an MMA fighter, wrestling competitor, and BJJ champion, Dangelo has a wealth of experience in mixed martial arts. However, his true gift lies in working with kids—helping them build confidence, discipline, and resilience through Jiu-Jitsu. A natural mentor, he is passionate about creating a positive and structured learning environment where children can thrive, both on and off the mats.
